Welcome to Canon 5D World.

Alright, let's face it... there's not much in here right now, but hopefully one day this World will be the go-to destination for anyone with questions on their Canon 5D or 5D Mark II. Maybe the Canon 5D Mark III, if it ever comes to that.

And me?

I'm no professional photographer. Not even close. But like most people out there, I would like to take a truly great photo someday, and I did my research and saved up enough cash for a Canon EOS 5D Mark II. I've been at it for a while now and feel pretty confident with my DSLR, but there's always more to learn, which is where you guys come in.

If you have any advice or tips on using one of the 5D models, then write an article or share them in the forum. Know a great article already out there? Post a link to the corkboard. Or you can just share your photos and videos to the rest of the community here.

I'll be posting some articles that I think will be helpful for all Canon EOS 5D and 5D Mark II owners, so stay on the lookout. Michelle Geoga (an actual professional photographer) from the Lights! Camera! Photoshop World will be sharing her knowledge, too. Maybe someday more pros will follow suit and contribute what they know.
